2024 USA Women’s Gymnastics Olympics Leotard “USA Elegance”

The design process for “USA Elegance” from initial trend inspiration and themes to finished project. For this design, varying style lines on the front and back were explored to find what best fit with the overall concept of the garment. Several color ways were also tried to finally land on the scheme that best communicated the Team USA energy. The main focus of the leotard what the crystal design, which drew from many Parisian themes for inspiration, and the base of the garment was designed to best support the crystal design.

A/W 2025 Capsule Collection

The is a case study for an Autumn/Winter 2025 capsule collection that pays attention to fabrics and price points valued by the target customer base. This customer is a trend follower but values quality and affordable prices. There is a focus on upcoming prints and fabrics that is prevalent through the collection and the capsule is divided into a good-better-best price range.

Spring ‘24 Streetwear Capsule Collection

A mini collection featuring trend driven pieces that focus on sustainability through messaging and a combination of dead stock and eco-friendly fabrics . Highlighted fabrics include sweatshirt material, textured rib knits, and salvaged denim. This capsule has an edgier style for a more current feel and is meant to be layered together. Color palette and prints are derived from trending ‘24 & ‘25 forecasts.

A sportswear capsule collection for the fall ‘22 season that features mix and match pieces, stock sublimation design, and seamless knitting. Collection evokes a mixture of comfort and streetwear style and the color palette is taken from the 2022 Pantone colors and personal preference.

A collection with a combination of formal and comfort attire. There is a mixture of sheer and knit fabrics and different types of accessories, such as leather straps, safety pins, and custom industrial belts. Colors are derived from Pantone 2021 palette.

Spring 2019 trend forecasting mood board and designs. Trends centered around desert and pueblo themes with a warm color palette and accenting blues and purples. The designs feature matching sets and dresses that emphasize the waist and trims derived from the inspiration.

TEMPEST

This collection is based off of the Energy, Spirit, and Movement of the Ocean. I feel this strong connection to the Sea and it has always been a place of serenity and comfort. There is also a more spirited side to the water which is what this collection follows. As it progresses, the colors become deeper and the texture and movement in each garment becomes more pronounced. Tempest follows the growth of a calm water to a raging storm.
